Moving My Guinea Pigs From Indoors Out

Hiya, looking for advice as I'm only allowed to keep my guinea pigs if they are outside, however I want to put them in our shed. At the moment we have only got an indoor cage! Is it safe to keep them in the indoor cage in the shed for the time being till we can get a hutch? Any advice is helpfully thank you xx
