Hi All,
My 2 Guinea pigs are coming up to 2 years old.
The weather has started to get colder - and wondering if anyone else moves their Pigs indoors during the winter?
We did last year for about 4 months (November to early March)- but I worry that now they are bigger- what size cage will they need? Will they get bored? How do I combat that?
They have a standard size cage outside - which is raised with a big run attached underneath and lots of things to do. But I can't fit that size cage indoor...…!
What does everyone else do? What size cage do you have inside?

My boys live in a hutch in a shed so I don’t move them in for winter. I can keep them warm enough in their shed. However, I ALWAYS have a back up plan and can bring them in if the weather were to get very severe and prolonged cold that the hutch, shed and all my other measures (covers, snuggle saves etc) were not enough. I keep a lot of c&c grids on hand (it’s what their playpen in the shed is made from) so I can always set up a 5ft or 6ft pen inside the house for them if needed.
What size cage do your piggies have now?
