Let's call it a disagreement.

I don't like cucumbers. I think they're gross and slimy and having to cut them wigs me out. Baby cucumbers have a much more acceptable skin-to-flesh ratio but of course they're out of season or something so Tesco doesn't have them and Asda only sometimes does.

And I mean cucumber isn't a necessity right? There's plenty of romaine or pepper or herbs to go around. There's baby corn and kale and spring greens and beans too but Mourne won't eat those. I'm working on that, lol.

Mourne insists cucumber is the only necessary veg. He'd forego everything else for a slice of cucumber.

And so there's cucumber in the fridge. Yeugh. Tesco please bring back baby cucumbers soon. I'm not too ashamed to beg, lol.

I feel much the same about coriander - slimy awful stuff that tastes like soap. Of course, it’s what my piggies love the most and they will riot if they don’t get it 😅

Be sure to tell Mourne to keep up the good work and demand as much cucumber as he can! 😂

I promise you he doesn't need the encouragement 😂 he gave me the dirtiest look for offering him a pepper slice earlier. He'll have eaten it now that I've left it in the cage and left him but he made it clear he's not eating it willingly lol.

I have 2 piggies who don’t like cucumber very much at all.
They will only eat it if there’s nothing else left to eat.

I’m with you on the awfulness of coriander @JaseChase .
I only buy it for the piggies who do like it.

Tesco in Sudbury have baby cucumbers so hopefully yours will too 🤞

I don't even remember which Tesco does my deliveries except it's somewhere past Littleborough (so the Pennines) and they didn't have any when I last ordered. I always check because he really does love them, hopefully it'll be next time lucky.

I know I could order from Asda but they have a terrible yogurt selection. I might have to put up with that with the next order though.

The things we do ( or have to) for our pigs ………

Dear Mourne

Well done for holding out for cucumber. The fact your Slave doesn't like it or preparing in for you in neither here nor there. Slaves can be very stupid at times (well all the time actually). You clearly don't need my advice on how to train your Slave as you seem to be doing that perfectly and Bann taught you well before he joined Cam at The Rainbow Bridge.

Bann taught him a little too well, I found him dumping a pile of hay into the water bowl earlier 🙄

It could be worse, our Betty used to have cucumber at lap time and got into the habit of nibbling all the edges and then opening her mouth and dropping the slimy middle into my palm so she could start her next bit of veg. 🤣
How thoughtful at least she didn't drop it on the floor!

I watched Mourne manage to throw his last piece into his bed 🤨 and then of course he couldn't find it in half a second, so he figured it had disappeared into the ether and wandered off.

I mean, I thought he'd find it again, and only realised he didn't went I went to grab the Snugglesafe at bedtime. :vom:
