Last night Sammy has been chewing the twigs the piggies have had for a while but never showed any interest in them. When I checked on them This morning they were all chewed up! :)
So when I had a break at work today I went to buy some more. I found the woodlands twig mix and I decided to buy it. I was reading the packaging when I noticed the twigs looked a bit green. They were mouldy. I looked at every bag they had and they all had some mould on them but the one I picked up was the worst :( I asked someone in the shop if they have any more because the ones on the shelves are mouldy. He said "No, the only ones we have are on the shelves. Is that okay?" Of course I said no, and I told him to look at them, they are turning green. He looked at them and said "I think they are meant to be like that" and waited for me to pay. I left the twigs on the counter and I put the other items I was going to buy away and I left. I was annoyed but I was so glad I picked up the worst bag because I can't imagine what would have happened if I didn't notice the mould and I gave the twigs to my pigs! :(
I just wanted to post the whole story here so that anyone who hasn't experienced this before checks things carefully before buying, I know I will!

This is a picture I took of the twigs.
