Hello,
one of my guinea pigs is having really weird poops. Most of his poops still look normal but yesterday I noticed these really strange poops and today I was able to track down their creator.

He is two years old boar that weighs 1410g. There was no change in his diet, the last one was made a month ago when they started receiving grass. No change in his weight. No loss in appetite. But he seems to be less active (but that's probably because of the hot weather) and drinks less (could be that he get enough water from grass that gets washed before they get it). And his little brother is on antibiotics because of inflammation, but that seems to be getting better after a very stressful month.

I wasn't able to find anything about this and my vet is on vacation. Does anyone know what could be causing it? I would be very grateful for any advice.

* And is there a way to post a picture? I may be dump because I couldn't find it, only that you can put there some already existing on the internet.

*Found it :D

It looks like he may have a digestive upset. Only a vet can diagnose medical issues though.
Please stop feeding him all fresh veg and grass and feed him only hay until poops normalise. This will help settle his digestive system and rebalance it. It may take several days before poops normalise. Once they do, keep him off fresh veg and grass for a further 24 hours, then you can start to slowly reintroduce fresh veg/grass a little at a time.

If things get worse, he stops eating or it turns to diarrhoea, please step in with syringe feeding and see a vet.

Thank you, I will do that. Do you think it could help to give him probiotics? I have quite a few in the stack because of the other piggy and it's written on them that they are even for digestive upset.
