I just ordered 2 sets of new fleece cage liners from 2 different sellers. These are for the 2-floor hutch that my piggies live in (with an attached 5x2 C&C at the bottom). Anyways, Cookie is still not eating much despite no signs of dental issues and abscess now. This past week, her weight has been going down and the other day, she went as low as 814g. We also noticed that every time she goes in the hutch, she keeps on eating the shredded egg tray bedding and puppy pads. She has done this in the past occasionally, but this time, she eats it more instead of their food. She eats loads of hay mind you but not enough to really maintain her weight. So yesterday, I have changed their bedding in the hutch to wood shavings until the new fleece cage liners arrive in 2 weeks time. Today, we managed to get her weight back to around 860g (we feed her critical care too) and was eating loads of veggies and grass as well.
