I've had Monty a few weeks now, him and Alan seem to have bonded (finger's crossed) they were introduced over two weeks ago now. Alan does love to mount Monty but no real aggression and Monty has learnt to stick up for himself so Alan knows he can't push things too far!

Monty is pretty cute it has to be said - he's about 8 weeks old now and is loving life. I had to put him in a mug though as he's too big for a teacup photo now!bw.webp IMG_4582.webp IMG_3523.webp They are free range in my living room, out all the time so they have plenty of room to run and play. I am just trying to potty train them as Alan was completely house trained before Monty arrived but now has blown caution to the wind and poos anywhere he likes!

I can't post without putting a picture of my beloved Ted too (he is the brown/grey rex on my profile picture). I adored Ted and I feel guilty that I have a new guinea pig at times. Is it normal to feel guilt? Ted was my baby and I adored him and I still think about him every day. He was one in a million.

Oh my, yes, it's completely normal to miss your beloved Ted. I'm still prone to crying at the drop of a hat about losing my Mr Ted, too. Much as I love the baby (Mabel) I would still give anything to have my old Mr fuzzy face back again. I think it's perfectly normal.

So glad Monty and Alan are getting on well.

Great news Monty and Alan are doing well together :)

Totally natural about your little lad Ted. Feel free to share loads of photos of him, helps to keep the memories alive. *hugs*

I don't know if I've heard of anyone having luck completely potty training a piggy pair although they naturally go more in some areas. Has anyone heard of success with 2 or more piggies?

I still miss fizzy pop although I lost her over two years ago. Got poppy-rose instead who is special as she was bought for me by my mum on our last shopping trip before she died because pebbles, her companion, was pining so badly and wouldn't accept the sows I tried to bond her with so we had to get a baby.

They're stunning. Glad it's going well.

Perfectly normal to miss Ted. I still miss Brillo (who actually looked very very similar to Ted!) to this day.

He was my first ever guinea pig so will always hold a special place in my heart.
