Junior Guinea Pig
Hello. I got my two new baby girls out tonight for the first time. Cookie let me pick her up straight away and just sat on my chest/stomach/legs without moving much. The other one however did a mixture of things (she doesn't have a name yet).
As I first sat down she ran to put her head in between my arm and side so all you could see was her fluffy backside! After a minute or two she came out and nibbled on some of the cabbage I held for her. Actually, devouring is probably a more appropriate description. I'd seen her eating it before I bought her so knew she must like it. She then started making little noises and started looking around and tried a few times to climb out of my arms.
Now the hiding would make sense that she was of course scared. But eating from me... I didn't think she'd have done that if she didn't feel comfortable? As for trying to explore, was that her trying to run away, or was she just wanting to see what was going on?
