Mixed guinea pig herd

Hello I currently have 4 groups of piggies.

3 x male and female pairs
1x male and two females

What is the likely hood of me being able to make one group. They have been like this for 3 years but if put them all together they would have lots more room. Or do you think the males would just fight? Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Grouping them all as one would be impossible - you can only ever have one neutered boar to any number of sows.
If you were to attempt it, the boars would fight, break bonds and you would end up with multiple single piggies all refusing to go back together. They will need to remain as four separate groups permanently.

You will see a link to a German page where such a grouping has been possible, but the space requirements would be absolutely enormous to do so and for most people this kind of grouping in a caged environment will not work out
