I have a large herd of girls and a neutered boar that lives with them however I would be unable to add another male to the group as the boys would fight. Neutering a boar does not stop its natural behaviour. It is very hard to come across rescued neutered females.

I did hear of someone who had 2 or 3 neutered boars living with a group of girls and it worked out, on another forum. But I think they had a huge space for them to freeroam.

I wish neutered boars were as easy going as neutered dogs and tom cats! and could all live in peace. I'd love to have all my guinea pigs living together! Though the boar I adopted recently is probably too old to be neutered anyway.

You need OODLES of space (several sq metres, in fact!) to be able to have more than one neutered boar living with a group of sows.

In a smaller group or more confined space, only one boy per group, please, or you will have fights.
