Hi, can i have some info on mites please :)
Well, I'm getting my 6 guinea pigs treated today and just needed to know what is involved in using the injection. THANKS O0
 
The vet will inject the correct amount it takes two seconds ;) they will weigh them all to ensure they are given the correct amounts.
Good luck at the vets which one are you going to and what time? I am at work soon will check back when I get home and see how you got on :)
 
If an overdose of ivo can kill a pig or cow, imagine what it could do to a guinea pig!

On the other hand if you don't give enough, the problem will not be dealt with and you will have to spend even more!

Not going to the vets, having never administered ivo to your guineas before, especially when they are only a few weeks old is just stupid!

Went to AMBIVETS :D Anyone go there ? 98)
Well, it cost £27 for a check up, an injection for mum ( I had to hold her down :-\ But Choc Choc was good and it was quick) All 5 babies got a spot on their necks.

The vet woman said you should see improvement in a couple of days or so and choc chocs hair will grow back normal over a couple of weeks (Due to giving birth )

Ive got to go back on the 24th August a friday at 4:10pm

If i dont see improvement and still see the babies scratching then ive just got to ring them O0

So, all good !
I was going to take them to the vets anyway - But i only wanted advice and just where to ring and costs etc.

Well i rang my dad and he went ambivets to get some advice then picked me and the guineas up ! then he came straight round and took me.
 
Which spot on did they use? the name of it will be on the receipt :) all drugs used will be on it I am asking because I know the name of a really good one that it not available every where and want to know if ambivets stock it :)
 
Hi had the receipt in my pocket but doesnt say anything on the receipt but i know they saved one as i payed by card 98)
 
Hi, How was that being rude ?I was only thinking ( the sign ) as to why my reciept dont say the treatment they were given and how can you say i didnt take them to the vets ? DO YOU WANT THERE NUMBER ? So you can check i came in or not as i am soo happy to give t to you. That is being rude but why did you say i was rude when i wasnt 98)

Sorry but she sent me a pm saying why was i being rude to her as she only asked what a thing was called and i used this sign 98) as i was just like wondering why it doesnt say the treatment given on my receipt and she said i was being rude !

Right I did pm you I have not said that you did not go to the vets OK. Its easy to check that one out anyway. I simply asked for the name of the spot on that is on your receipt that they gave you. The reason I asked for the name is because if its the one that hard to get hold of it would be NICE to know another vets stock it.
I only asked iloveanimals you really do show attitude when all EVERYONE on here wants is to help you OK
