Just having such a longing to see, hear and cuddle Thorn today. He was my quiet, petite little man in amongst my mainly chunky, noisy Yorkshire boys! This time last year he was having several syringe feeds a day to try and slow his mystery weight loss but we lost him in February 2015 with no clear cause ever found (even with PM). You can see his little paw on my finger in this photo which is how he liked to sit.

Hope you are having a great time in a meadow somewhere Thorn. Me and the boys miss you - especially Cheeky who is tolerating Colin but frankly just wants you back. x

:( Aaaaawww, Thorn was a beautiful little chap. Piggies keep a firm hold on your heart long after they have gone over the Bridge. :bye::bye:

Some piggies leave a long lasting imprint on your heart. It's good (but bittersweet) to remember them x

Huge hugs matey. It is so hard isn't it :( I haven't been able to write Cookie's RB thread yet a month later. Try and remember the good times and the precious memories like the paw on the finger, they will keep you going and smiling inside.

Sleep well Thorn

Awww, he's beautiful. I'm so sorry for your loss! I think so often of the pigs that I've lost, in particular my Linney who passed away just over a year ago. Those little pawprints are so deep in our hearts. ((HUGS)) to you.

So sorry to read about Thorn. It's the little things such as his resting his paw on your finger and you feeling his weight that makes you feel a real connection which you will never forget. He will have had the happiest of times whilst in your care Laura.

Thanks for those kind replies - you are all right and i do have some lovely memories of Thorn - I was just really missing him today. He was a calm little soul.
But I have my current boys to keep me on my toes and they don't let you wallow do they?

I don't believe we ever get over losing one of our piggies, but hopefully the good, fun memories you spent with one another will pull you through the difficult times.

He was gorgeous.
I'm sorry for your loss. It is indeed really hard, but the good memories with them are what can also make us smile and warm our hearts. I'm sure he loved you really much.
