If I'm not working I spend about 2-3 hours a day with the boys broken up in 15 minute sessions. So I'm in and out of the room all day.

I've noticed lately sometimes when I leave the room they follow me as much as they can in their cages and Stripe has been wheeking occasionally when I leave the room.

On days I work lately they seem to act up. Incessant bar biting for cookies. They are usually satisfied with me breaking off a tiny bit of cookie then that's all they get. On days I work they incessantly beg when I get home.

Were they lonely?

I wouldn't beat yourself up :)
Your piggies have obviously trained you well- you appear to be a walking, talking, guinea pig treat dispenser!
Whilst I'm sure they enjoy your company, I'd imagine they're missing the piggy cookies more than they're missing you...
That's just my take though, we'll see what the experts say. 🥰

I agree with scrufflesrules!

They have each other so will not be lonely.
They have however done their job very well in making you feel bad for not spending 24/7 attending to their every need!
