Does anyone find their pigs prefer to be getting under the fleece than sitting on it? My pigs get under everything - fleece and towels. Other than take up cage space by putting something heavy like a brick where my two bits of fleece overlap, has anyone found a better method?!

This is what we do, we've got one of the long tube things and then drape the fleece over it truffle really loves getting under here and wrapping herself in the fleece!

Oooops picture below lol!

We use this large tunnel and drape the fleece over it, truffle loves wrapping herself in it so I know what you mean!

Do you have a sewing machine? If so you could sew the two pieces together- that works for me, I have a couple of piggies who love burrowing under fleece too.

The best method is (in my opinion ofcourse) A cage liner. Theres no way to get under that. :D

I have one who loves to burrow even more than he likes to eat! I never forget when my new babies were new, they were about ten weeks old, they were on top of the fleece and my boy and one of girls were underneath. They kept popcorning underneath which caused the fleece to keep pinging up. The baby girls were so excited by this that they too popcorned on top and so it went on...and on...and on... like a living trampoline, it was the funniest thing to watch and I wish to this day that I had had a camera with me.

I've had fleece for just over a week now,
So i've just tried and experimented with a few methods, the best i've found is :
line your cage with newspaper.
Then get the towel and fold it to the size of your cage so it fits properly,
Then get your fleece and place it on top, then wrap the hanging edges underneath the towel,
Place in cage and away you go, it makes it harder for them to get under as its just one big piece !
i don't know if this makes sense i could take pictures if you would like, it works for me so i guess it's worth a try for you if you haven't tried it yet.
It's the only way i've managed to keep my piggies from getting under :)

argh i know what you mean, I have bull dog clips clipping mine to the correx and they still get under it! they love it lol. Tyler zips round the outer edge but Fuzzy has started copying but he has cataracts sho he just bumbles around aimlessley under throwing everything up in the air lol rolleyes

Gotta look at cage liners....
