We got out first baby guinea pig 12 weeks ago, he is a real live wire and always getting into mischief:(|) He is so busy playing that he has no time for cuddles, when we hold him fidgets and climbs until he can get back to the busy job of exploring on the floor. Yesterday he climbed on the bag of dried grass and tipped it all over the floor, (he thought this was great) he jumps over the pen wall at floor time and hides behind the sofa, wheeking and refusing to come back unless food is offered. He is always trying to get into the other pen with our other pair of boars, yesterday i caught him balancing on his tunnel and peering over the wall! The list goes on! He is so much fun, is this a typical baby or have we chosen a little monkey? :))

I've had two baby boys for the past three weeks - they are six weeks old.

One is very mischevious and climbs on EVERYTHING and jumps around like no-ones business, the other just humps everything. They're not massive fans of cuddles and do try and escape, but as soon as they are snuggled in their fleece they will happily snuggle with ANYONE!

Ha ha, that humping business made me giggle :))

What a little cutie! Definitely a little monkey!

Some piggies are born to get into mischief; some are a bit more timid and prefer to hang out in mummy's wake. there is a good reason why youngsters are at their most vocal during their first few months of life - it is the time when they are most likely to get into trouble; it like a constantly updated status report!
