cavy!

Hey guys,
I was just wondering what the minimum temp. for guinea pigs to live comfortably is? Taking into consideration that they would be out of the wind, rain, snow, sleet etc.

Thanks :)

hey there :) x) .................well if you can tell us where you are, maybe we can help with your situation
You can also have a peek up the top in the sticky threads some fab info that might help you regarding you piggies living areas :)
We have people from all over the world so they should be able to help you for your country i hope :)
You'll note in our housing that it's preferable for piggies to come indoors in weather that's really cold :{ if they can't it's advisable to be in a well insulated shed and have plenty of hay and nice warm bedding to keep them safe and dry :)
Good luck xxxxx

Mine are out in their runs at the moment and the thermometer says 10 degrees C. It gets a lot colder in the winter and they are still outside during the day. They are quite hardy creatures so long as they are not in damp draughty hutches.
