I was just getting my piggies their veggies as usual, but then something unusual happened. When I cut into a red bell pepper, I noticed two strange-looking orange spheres inside of it, below the seeds. I pulled them out out and it appears to be a mini bell pepper growing inside. Are either peppers safe to feed to my piggies?

Sorry about blurry pictures, I can't keep the camera still for my own life xD

I've had a few of these before, always cut them out as they were covered in seeds and it was just easier. I don't see why they wouldn't be safe for the piggies, but I don't have any solid proof they aren't.

Thanks for replies, especially Wiebke. I've put the little pepper back inside the larger one in the fridge, with its mummy, going to feed it to the piggies tomorrow. I wonder how they'll like it! :))

The mini pepper looks kind of... erm... hopefully @BossHogg isn't going to turn this into another one of his recycling threads... ;)

I have fed them to my pigs before, it does happen sometimes with the bell peppers! They don't seem to distinguish it from normal peppers.
