Hi

So yesterday was the day Milo could finally go in with his girls!

I let him out in the run with lots of grass, there was a lot of noises from my girls and a bit of teeth chattering, Milo seemed to get the hang of not getting too close!.

I completly cleaned out there inside house (they have full run of the shed) and put them all to bed, they seem to be getting on ok, one of my girls had a few sessions of chasing him off and nipping him slightly (no blood was drawn). one of my girls keeps making a really loud squeaking noise.

I kept a close eye on then through the night, they were all eating veggies and hay together.

this morning they all seemed ok- there was some bits of hair on the floor, but no wounds on any of them.

they all went back out on the grass this morning, all eating well, again a few teeth chattering and nipping, but nothing to bad. Milo seems to be quite a submissive pig.

does this sound like everything is going as it should?

thanks sarah x

That sounds like all is going really well. I hope you will post pictures. :)

I had lots of loud wheeking from one girl the most as she settled into having silver around, and it wasnt helped by him taking rather a shine to her as well. It took a few days before they settled down but I avoided taking them in and out as it can cause them to assert dominance in the run and the home enviroment.

I made this diary to help others in the same situation
