Mild haypoke

Hi my girl has mild haypoke as I seen her do it.
Vets are booked up untill the middle of next week.

Isn't there a human solution of some kind that will work in the mean time? I'm in the Uk

I am very sorry. Sadly there’s no human solution that would be suitable. Could you try another vet? Eye injuries are classed as emergencies so should be seen promptly. Any general vet can take a look and prescribe the correct treatment

The problem with leaving it that long is that a minor hay poke (which is quickly and easily treated now) could be a major ulcerated eye by next week.

I would call the vet back and ask for an urgent appointment, as eyes are classified as an emergency.

Best I can get is Monday morning. I don't have many vets round my area.

But I did get some eye wash in the mean time. So she hopefully isn't too sore with it
