Midwest Guinea Pig Cage Help

I have the midwest guinea pig cage. It comfortably houses two guinea pigs, but I really want to get a third so I'm thinking of expanding - if I buy the expandable part for it can I add it to the cage I have now? Also.....advice for fleece? My guinea pigs hide under their's all of the time and I know there is a way to keep it down but I'm not sure what to do or how you do!
 
I'm not sure what you mean by the expandable part? I have 2 midwest cages that I have attached. I'm not sure if that's what your asking. :nod:
 
Yea it's pretty simple you just line them up with a door of each one so that the doors kind of make a ramp from one side to the other. Here is a picture of how I have mine set up

My girls love the extra room. As for the fleece issue I tuck the blankets into the side of the cage between the canvas and the bars.
