So Midnight bit me again tonight so hard I bled. I know I just posted about this but I am a bit concerned because his biting only recently became a problem...since Panda died. Does anybody think Panda passing could have something to do with this? It has been about two weeks since he passed. Midnight nibbled before, NEVER bit me hard. I don't do anything now that I didn't before. I am really worried about him, any advice would help.

Mm, you might have a point there about him missing his friend. If there is no obvious source of pain or skin irritation( mites, fungal, etc.) , lumps or bumps, sores or other illness that would make him uncomfortable when handled then I am not sure what might work. Does he get plenty of excercise? Got lots of things to chew on and keep him occupied? Just thinking aloud! A vet check might set your mind at rest. I hope somebody else on the forum can help you out. Occasionally a cuddly toy in the cage or a mirror( hung outside the cage, but where he can see himself in it) provide comfort for a bereaved piggy. If he reacts badly to the mirror then remove it straight away. Looking for a new friend might help, not sure how you are fixed for rescue centres near you though. You take care, and hope Midnight gives up on the misuse of his teeth!.

Thank you! He does get plenty of exercise and has a lot of things to chew on. I do not have any rescue centers near me, however I am moving so I will look there.

Looks like a hunt for a new companion for Midnight is on the cards! Hope your move goes ok for you.

Thank you! I looked at some rescues already and I may be able to get to the one in new York although it is not super close to me
