Oh wow i love your cage! :)

I have 8 gp's and i'm always trying to think of ways to redesign/expand so i can make room for more :))

I'm not as creative as you though

Looking good! Bet theyre having fun in there. Gorgeous and well made again!

It's fantastic, Wiebke - I don't think I've ever known such luxurious piggie housing.

I have seen far better on the continent; but we do not have the space (or the money) for a several sq metres enclosures! So we had to try and make the most of what we got to combine the maximum comfort for the piggies with sensible access for twice daily spot cleaning.

erm, erm, Glynis, in the UK people just queue... there's a long list of owners who would love to have Mr Wiebke home for a bit, just to make towers like this one!:))

"Mr Wiebke" has gone a very interesting shade of pink at all the praise on this forum! :)):)):))

It's lovely Wiebke. However I have one big concern. Do your piggies not try and climb out of the top? I know for sure that Pops would have hurled herself off the turret within minutes of being in there. Maybe your piggies aren't quite as adventurous as my crazy girl though.

No, so far none has shown any interest at all. I wouldn't have done it with my Minx, but my current lot aren't climbers and explorers the way she used to be.

I do cover the top with a towel overnight or if I'm not there. During the day, they are mostly outside in the living room anyway and getting rid of any excess energy but racing up and down the living room.

Pops loves jumping out of her cage to go out running, but when I stacked her cage on top of another and had it open to get Skye out, she was just about ready to hurl herself over the side as I grabbed her. She didn't seem to care that the cage wasn't at floor level! She's a devil for climbing though! She would easily climb over a grid, even without anything to climb onto. :(|)

As they have a big "door" to the cage and the lower ramp is running between grids, it's just another level for mine.

For the night, they have a towel pegged over, which they like, since it gives them another cosy "set" to crawl into for sleeping.

You get the extra inquisitive piggy like your Poppy or my Minx, who can operate outside of the box, but most piggies do not seem to think beyond boundaries - look at Poppy's sister Sky!

Wiebke her name is Poppet & she wouldn't take kindly to being called Poppy. ;)
Nick-named Victoria Elizabeth by me for her screaming abilities - she is a madam & multi-talented :)) :))

As I have heard her only being called Pops, it is was probably easy to jump to the assumption that she was yet another Poppy! Sorry about the misunderstanding!

However, the towel set-up is quite a favourite at nights, judging by the amount of dropping I find in the morning!
