Hi gang :)p

Was just wondering where megazorb fans get their supplies? Found a few sites and it seems to vary in price from £7.49 to £14.99 for a 85l bag but then the delivery charges are a bit crazy.

Anywhere you can recommend? I need ALOT by the way :{

Thank you x>>

Milbry hill, it's about £12 including delivery, it seems to be the cheapest it can be bought online.
If anyone else knows cheaper.....:)

I get mine from a horse feed supplier for roughly £8, maybe try the feed suppliers near you, you could maybe go collect it :).

i get mine from farmandpets its £10.52 delivered

The supplier list isn't comprehensive so make sure you also ask around at your local farm/pet/saddlery suppliers if they stock it or will order it in for you. They'll add it to their weekly order and so you won't have to pay postage. My local saddlery gets it in for me and another piggie slave and it cost £8.25 a bag.

I get it for the bargin basement of £6.50 (ex delivery) at local horsey farm shop in Pocklington (its cheap up North;)). I am sure other horsey shops near you would get it in if you have a regular order.

Deffo ask around all the horsey and farm supplies near you - a lot of them will order in for you - I have to order top grade dust extracted shavings for my boarding piggies and they arrive very quickly for me to pick up. It's not something they sell normally though - they say most people just want the cheapo horrid stuff rolleyes

The megazorb is always in stock in a lot of our local farm suppliers.

Don't roll your eyes at us horsey owners :( horse's noses are considerably further away from the ground then piggies, so unless they suffer from COPD the dusty stuff is often fine (and cheaper!) when you can go through 2 - 3 bales a week it all adds up!

No I'm not rolling my eyes at the horsey people - MOST people are buying it for their small animals at this particular supplier - and it's really horrible stuff with great big splinters and loads of dust in it, although they say they have had a increase in sales of Megazorb :)

eugh, that actually sounds crap even for horses, don't want a splinter in their sides if they have a good lie down of a night!

Surely it must hurt your hands to use it? Nice shavings like Hunter are soft and don't upset my dodgy skin on my hands, whereas cheap ones do, that's my shavings test lol

It certainly does hurt -I actually gave it to my friend who has horses and she wouldn't use it - she said it was lethal!

I'm just curious, how long would the bag of megazorb last for four 4ft cages? I'm considering changing to it but not sure of how cost effective it would be.
