I use vetbed in my cages at the moment but have to take it out and wash it every 2 days so that it doesnt smell and also it takes ages to try get the hay out of it. I also hoover up the poo about 3 times a day as they just poo all over. I am thinking of trying megazorb but wondering if it will ake any difference. What happens to remove the poo? Do I have to search through the megazorb to find all the poops? What do I put under the megazorb? How often does it need changing and how long would an 85ltr bag last for a 4x4 C&C and a 4x2 C&C?
Thanks

Great question, I too use vetbed and have a big C&C cage, and I have also been thinking of trying Megazorb. I hope someone can answer this one x

I cant decided whether to just replace the hay with megazorb (in their houses) so its not on the vetbed and just have hay in the hay rack with their tray underneath or whether to use megazorb for the full base! ?/

Hi i currently use both. I personally love megazorb and use a layer of newspaper underneath. you can't really pick out the poos as they get buried but what I do is scoop out the hay that they have thrown everywhere every one / two days as it gets smelly. Half way through the week I scoop off the top layer of megazorb and add some clean stuff. Then at end of week do a full change.

I have a nero 4 which is about 3 by 1 1/2 of the c&c cubes. I have had one sack last me about 6 weeks!

I am using vet bed in my bottom C&C style cage for now with a tarpoline underneath. I don't like to use it as is so hard to get poos out of the weave and hay off it but I have not made a base yet. When I get a proper base I will be using megazorb on both!
