No they don't seem to do that at her school. She is doing GCSE level work though in year 10 so probably could.I have a son in year 11 who is a Maths genius too (doesn't get it from his Mother!) who got A* Maths GCSE at 14. Is your daughter being put forward for her GCSE early too?
I know this sounds obvious (and you probably are doing it anyway) but you need to make sure she is challenged in her maths at all times. It took us about 2 years of my son being at Secondary School and for me and my husband keeping on explaining to the school that he was exceptional at Maths for them to actually bellieve us. The Head at his Junior School said that there are lots of bright kids but occasionally an exceptional one comes along and that I had to keep on at the teachers and the Secondary School until they believed me that my son was one of these. The Junior School had told the Senior School this as well. Sounds like your daughter is one of the exceptional ones too.No they don't seem to do that at her school. Clever children some of you have.
Gorgeous piggies there.
Are they maths geniuses too?
