Ophelia came to live with us recently after a friend asked us to rehome her due to her pigs needing to move outside into a shed.

She had been living in her own cage while we decided who to bond her with. She had had laptime with all of Millie's herd and also Dulcie and Barley. Well tonight she made the decision for us when she decided to jump the grids into Dulcie and Barley's cage. Ross was stood in the cage at the time and said they seemed to accept her straight away. We have now opened up Ophelia's cage so they have an L shape. There has been some humping and submission squealing from Ophelia but so far has good. Apparently she is about 2 years old.

Here she is with Dulcie and Barley and also some of the laptime bonding photos.

Ophelia is gorgeous bless her. I like the idea of a Mrs Fuzzy hat

All is still going well, though Ophelia has come into season so it is a bit chaotic. Lots of 3 way humping going on. Dulcie was so excited she rolled over popcorning and her little back legs went in the air. I have noticed Maud watching a lot from the next cage and I caught her snuggled up to Barley through the grids last night. They have always had a bit of a love hate relationship. I am going to monitor over the next few weeks and may consider joining the cages eventually and making a 5. Would be nice for Robyn too. Will see. It will all depend on Maud and how she reacts really.
