Hi all

I am now giving Winnie 0.9ml of Emeprid + 0.5ml Loxicom + 0.1ml Tramadol ALL x2 per day.

I was wondering is there a time frame (eg every 8hrs) you would give these all and how long you would leave between each medication?
I know i should have asked my vet but i was in a bit of a flap when i left.
Due to Winnies bottom teeth where her jaw abscess was, are growing more inwards than usual and causing food / fur to become trapped inside. So the outcome isnt looking great, as this hadn't become apparent in her recent visits and there's not much they can do about it with her being 5, she's getting on now :(
her bellys 'stodgy' and she is passing small poops still, and seems generally quiet again today.
I gave her first lot of Emeprid at 4pm so should i leave the next lot until the morning? I'm up late anyway so can always give it at like 11/12 at night if needed.

Also can anyone suggest a good variety of veg to give her please?

Hi!

Try to give the medication ideally around every 12 hours for best effect and most constant pain cover.

Please switch from weighing once weekly to weighing daily at the same time. Adjust your feeding support accordingly. Hay is making around 80% of what piggies are eating in a day, so what you really need to support is the grass fibre intake long before veg. The teeth have developed against being constantly ground down by the very abrasive silica in the grass/hay and the gut is laid out to mainly process grass and hay while veg/fresh herbs and pellets take over the supplementary role that wild forage used to have.
