Measuring tape

Hi so my almost 1 year old guinea pig ate part of a measuring tape that somehow got partly into their cage. Will he be ok? Ive atached a picture of what he ate. Its a rubbery material.

Should be ok. .. just keep an eye on them.. looks like it was a small amount.

If you have any concerns. Get your piggy checked by a vet..
 
Piggies are notorious for chewing on what they shouldn’t and it only looks a small amount so please don’t stress too much. Just watch for any change in behaviour /signs of illness and if concerned please take them to the vets. However mine have chewed on the rubber strip from the dustpan, bristles from the brush, plastic bags hung on the outside of their cage and any variety of items they can find in the floor. They’ve all survived.
