I would be really, really careful about allowing an un-neutered male in with females.
Even if you are right there these things only take a second.
Since he is lined up to be neutered anyway I would wait a few more weeks before allowing him direct contact with the girls - maybe a mesh divider across the cage so they can still interact safely?
