Maude’s histo results

The histology on the mass that was removed from Maude’s liver, shows it to be a carcinoma. Although this isn’t the news we wanted, I’m not surprised. The mass looked very unpleasant, which is why I agreed to sending it for histo. The good news is, the lab says a good margin was taken from around most of it, so hopefully it won’t recur. However, we can’t be sure of the longer term outcome!

Maude sees Simon regularly for dental checks , so he can also palpate her abdomen to check for anything of concern.

Maude is well and happy and was shouting for her dinner, as I was running rather late tonight!

I’m not going to worry, until there is something to worry about. Hopefully it won’t have seeded elsewhere and Simon will have removed enough to have got rid of it for good. He said everything else looked normal!
