If things weren’t bad enough already, I’ve found Maude with extreme back leg weakness! Maude was the one who had the cancerous mass removed from her liver, recently. I’ve got an appointment at 3.40pm, so we will be heading to vets shortly. Please keep her in your thoughts!
Sadly, as I suspected, but had hoped I was wrong, Maude has another huge mass! This is much bigger than the one that was removed only a few weeks ago. We always knew this was a risk, as the other mass was malignant.
Maude is home, with her friends, and currently on Loxicom and Gabapentin. I will be monitoring her carefully and a decision to help her over the rainbow bridge will be made sooner rather than later.
As you can see she’s happily eating dinner and certainly hasn’t lost her appetite!
So very sad to read this. She is such a beautiful little piggie and a fighter too. Hope her remaining days are all happy ones, surrounded by love. Its a decision we all hope we never have to make and my thoughts are with you. I wish I could wave a magic wand for her and send the mass away. xx
