Mattress topper/protector

Hi everyone

Need some advice regarding the best mattress protector to use. We've got to girl piggies who do like to pee a lot :)) They are in a c&c gage with newspaper towels and fleece but I've noticed lately that it's getting more smelly and the towels are really quite wet (fleece stays dry) could someone point me in the right direction about what's the best mattress protector to use and if they are any good. I've had a look at Argos but there's so many!

The cotton toppers are half price at the moment. I have just bought a double which will make 1 more pad for my cage.

Ideally you'll need a waterproof protector which will hold the wee as well as capture it. I've bought a couple of these which have terry towelling on top and a waterproof layer beneath. They do the trick nicely with my 3 girls and are nice and cheap too! I only have to change them once a week, along with the vetbed they are under. :)
 
Bought the half price mattress protector today but what's the best way to put this in the cage i.e newspaper then this then my fleeces? Thanks for the advice.
