Hi all!
So recently I bought what I thought were normal chew sticks on amazon. Turns out they are cat’s Matatabi sticks/Silvervine sticks. On the listing, it says they they are suitable for all rodents as well but I’m not sure as I can’t find any information on the web in regards to guinea pigs.

This is the product page: VICTORIE Natural Wood Chew Sticks Twigs Snacks Teeth Grinding Toys for Cat Guinea Pigs Pets Rabbit Hamster(10 Pcs) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07CLGRFG4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_a2GlBbZREE0KZ (I didn’t look at all the pictures okay 😂)

I was wondering if anyone had any experience here? The internet says that the sticks are ‘a natural catnip’ for cats so I don’t want to drug my piggies! 😳

I have two 6 month old piggies called Edward and Alphonse ☺️

Just done a quick search and the branches are similar to cat nip which is why they are used for cats. I am not 100% sure if guinea pigs can have these and I couldn't find much info regarding this.
Personally I would avoid them until it is confirmed yes or no 100%. I always say if in doubt don't feed it.

Thanks @Hank288 , yeah I wasn’t going to give them until I knew for sure. I guess I’ll just give them to a friend with a cat! 😊
