Hello all!

Sunny is currently undergoing his treatment for mange mites and I was wondering, aside from his medication, is there anything I can do to make him more comfortable? He's shedding a lot and his skin is flaking. He's on a painkiller so gave him a very gentle brush to remove loose hair and skin.

I was wondering if I gave him a bath with just warm water to soften the skin would it help? Or would that aggravate his skin?

you can bath him 48 hours after ivermectin treatment.gorgeous guineas on line site do a good shampoo to help with this.if you get chance i would take alook, best not to use harsh shampoos as could exacerbate the flaky skin.x

Ok great, it's been 48 hours since his first injection! I think I'll stock with just warm water for now, then as he improves I can invest in some of that shampoo :)

Is it ivermectin injections he is on. How many more does he have to have?
