Making Zorb Liners - How Many Layers?

Hi all you lovely helpful people

I'm planning a mahoosive 1.5 by 1 metre pen for my boys. I'm trying to make clean out time easier and was planning on using zorb layered between fleece to make liners.

Does anyone know whether one layer of zorb will be enough to stop leakage? Looks good stuff but its pricey!

it is very absorbent,i have liners made from terry towel and some from zorb,it is only in a cage 6x2 with 4 piggies in i noticed the difference.mine had been on the towel liner for 3 days and it was leaking water after day three,and the zorb liners was still ok after day 6,i changed it over on day 7.i got mine from c/e cozies,so I'm not sure if it has two or one layer of zorb.there are other members who use fleece with zorb,I'm sure someone will come along and help.Zorb is definatley in my humble opinion the most absobent material to use in liners.

This is really useful as I'm planing on getting some 6x2 liners for my 3 girls and was wondering how often I would have to change them. Thank you! :D
 
I use onee layer of zorb in my cage liners. I now save it for the hidey mats as it is so pricey. I use cotton mattress protectors inside cage liners (2 layers) seems to work well may risk one layer of mattress protector next time!
