Hi all!

Not sure if anyone will remember, but my Mister Woo recently had his castration, and it was touch and go for a while due to various issues with an inner ear infection and kidney issues etc.
I'm super glad to say he's really bounced back after losing a scary ~250g! And he is slowly making his way back to his normal weight and he really is a happy pig 🥰
I have noticed however that sometimes when he's pooping he's still making little squeal noises as if in pain. It only seems to be when he's pooping his cecal pellets and then eating them, is this a sign of something bad or do some piggies do this? He doesn't do it every time, just every so often.

Thanks in advance! Xx

How long ago was he castrated?
How did his follow up checks go.

He really shouldn't be in pain while pooping, so I would definitely the him back to the vet for a proper check up.

It was over a month ago that he had the op. Almost straight away there were issues and he begun losing weight. The vets found potential kidney issues, possible small stones in the kidneys/bladder and the ear infection. Long story short he was in the vet hospital for a week having fluids and meds to help the infection etc, and he's been improving since then, gaining weight and acting his usual self!
It is just today that I've noticed him making noises when pooping, but it definitely only seems to be when he's passing the poops he eats. I will be updating the vet again this week with his progress so will mention it to him. Thank you 😃
