Making Hidey Bed

I am going to make these for the piggies. Of coarse it will be piggie size lol Just wondering what i could use in the bottom layers to be more obsorbant? They use their litter box for the most but still find puddles. Dont want them laying in urine.

Why not make a removable pad for inside it?

A removable pad, fleece cover lined with double cotton padded matress protector or Zorb. You only need one layer of Zorb but it's expensive. I made some for my strawberry houses so I could wash the cushions that come with them, they doube up as pee pads in the wet corners of the cage.

It always makes me giggle when companies or instructive videoes say "hamsters and rats" on the product. As if the two are somewhat similar in size. I've never seen a hammy the size of a male rat if honest.

Yes that is a great idea for the tents. So much easier than having to wash whole tent
