Even though I’ve not had as much time to spend as I’d like with my piggies, I think we’re still progressing in making friends! They’ve started to take food from my hands so that’s how I’ve been trying to bribe them into accepting my presence haha.

The orange and white one has been named Soda Pop and the calico looking one is Candy Corn!

It’s moving in the right direction! Just remember to take it at their pace. Keep going with the hand feeding. That shows trust 😍I can understand your excitement. I had to stop myself screaming with joy when my boys slept eyes closed for the first time.

PS I know it’s not what you posted about. But those pellets look to be too much. A tablespoon per piggy is enough. Pellets are the chocolate of the piggy world! 😋

I usually go in and do a cage clean and then offer them their veggies as treats so the fact that they’ll still come and nibble even after I rearrange their world really makes me happy!

Haha understood! These pictures are back from when I had mama and their other sister back in the cage with them so I definitely am not putting in that amount nowadays, but I will admit to not knowing and subsequently not following that one tablespoon per piggie rule then whoops. 😅 I’ll be mindful of that going forward, thanks!

Tonight’s after cleaning treat was some leaves of kale that they took from my hands. They both decided to focus on One(1) piece to try and steal back and forth despite there being other pieces that were still lying around.
