Making Cosies. What Stuffing?

Hi,
What stuffing should I use for piggie beds please? I've managed to make some cuddle sacks (which they love) but want to put some soft beds into their hutch. I'm scared of them ripping it open and choking though! (New owner worries!). Also- can I put tea towels in as blankets? And is cotton safe to use as well as fleece? Loads of questions- sorry! It's all quite daunting!

There are a few ideas on youtube. Some people make padded beds with the stuffing out of a pillow. I think it is the 'hollow fibre' stuffing. It looks like it.

I know most people use wadding or batting to make beds and cuddly toys, I use wadding from HobbyCraft. But I'm sure someone near you will sell this.

That's great thanks. I have some soft toy stuffing so I'll go ahead. Just wasn't sure if it was suitable.

I use toy stuffing but it doesn't go down well in the washing machine. If you want something to last you'd be better with quilting batting and sew onto the fleece

Aah... I thought what I had was batting; now realise it's not! I'll get some quilting stuff on Tues from my local craft shop. Thanks! That's really helpful.
