I want to make a fleece cage liner that's waterproof and some cuddle cups and cozies but whenever I search online for them the tutorials etc never seem as good as those you would buy from people who make them daily.
For example the cozies and tunnels that are online tend to be floppy and not have an open opening (hope that makes sense)

Does anybody have any tutorials or links to really good instructions?

Thanks in advance

Thank you!
I'm looking for more of a tunnel that's rigid. These are my current tunnel, cozies and cups and basically I want to make these again so they have 2 lots plus I'm just getting into my crafts and so got a new sewing machine for Xmas so want to make some things for the piggies lol. image.webp

To keep tunnels open, you have to use wadding

Most people who make those sort of tunnels use something called boning, it’s whats you get in corsets etc. to keep them stiff.

Yes there id definately boning in that tunnel you will also need wadding though. I boughtva ton of cotton fabric and fleece from abakhan and some wadding hut I dont have a sewing machine lol. I need to find one cheap

Just been and bought some 6oz wadding and a meter of boning. Now I don't know what to make first! Haha. Need to find some tutorials as I'm pants at making things without tutorials on first attempt lol

Making cosies is good fun, I make my own now too :-) cuddle sacks and tunnels are quite simple to make and turn out pretty well even if a beginner sewer does them :-) cuddle cups and cubes are a bit harder if you stick to the instructions they're still fairly straight forward too. @Wiebke knows the link for some good tutorials.

I must also state I cant sew but ill just have to try my best
Piggies don't critique the design or stitching - they just sit on it, roll on it, wee on it and poo on it - that's good enough praise for your efforts ;)

or at worst they eat it for you ... pig food :-P my rats are devils for just shredding anything I make so I dont even try to make their stuff perfect they dont appreciate it at all!

I don't think I can wait so I'm going to make items and then do the washing (no different to buying them off professionals?) lol.

My sewing machine is in the same room my boyfriend uses for his work so I've got to wait until he's out of there :( hopefully I'll be able to kick him out for a few hours this weekend haha
