Making a fleece bed?

I know you can buy the little fleece snuggle beds for them, but I was wondering how easy it is to make your own? Only I have an awful lot of spare fleece blankets that I could use to make a few for them and I'm pretty good at sewing - just not sure where to start!

Thanks might try one of those but I was wondering about the other sort of beds too - seems like there's less sewing for the cuddle cup sort of bed?
 
I'd like to have a go at something simple, what would you recommend would be the best item to start off with & what sort of sewing machine would be best, please excuse me I'm a complete novice hehe mallethead
 
cuddle cup's are pretty simple but take your time with them, aldi are selling a singer sewing machine for £89 which is quite good but look around for deals i strarted with a £15 aldi one and now own 1 singer 2 jmb and an overlocker

snuggle sacks are also quite easy and you don't have to have wadding but i do reccomend you use some rigilene boning to help them stay open

Is there anywhere online etc that can show me how to do it, like the link on the other post about the cuddlecup beds?

I think I will just start off with a cheap one and see how I go. Its only for my own guineas :)

Just to add will the £14 ish ones do the job? lol

They will do if you use thin ish wadding, but * will soon want to be upgrading, don't buy any from dunelm mill ones go for singer or janome, I think there was a * tube tutorial for cuddle cups but don't think she used any wadding
 
I have seen the link that was posted on here for a cuddlecup bed just wondered if there was anything on the tunnels or cosy's :))

Is singer and janome a brand?

on the guinea pig cages forum there are a few tutorials in accessories, i have some in there too under 3piggiepigs :)

You'll need a good sewing machine, my first one was £60 was okay but no good for the tunnel beds and anything two fabric thick. So my mummy in law upgraded to a rather swishy one specially designed for heavy or thick pile fabrics. Hurrah.

For cuddle rolls, sofa beds, square cuddle boxes etc, use this website but go through google translate :)

You can sew by hand, but it will take time 3-4 hours.

Fleece wadding etc can be bought cheaply by ebay, Boyes Stores.

How do you google translate? lol. Is that the way you learnt to make yours?

I'm def not going to do it by hand haha.
