I am going to make a C&c cage for two boars for the winter.

What do I use to make the base of the cage? I think I am going to use vet bed to help keep them warm and dry.

Also where is the best place to source the C&C and how many grids do you think i will need?

Thanks v much - I will pop into B&Q at some point and look at their correx stuff. My hubby has gone out in the car - grrrr... very annoying! I need to go NOW! hee hee!

No I haven't got an estate but my MIL does so I might get her to take me! Thanks for that info - I would have been a bit miffed if I'd bought it and couldn't get it in the car!

Yes I bet! Also you have to bend it a certain way... against the grain if you see what I mean, it will curve/bend slightly to get it in the car, but you do it against the long lines not with them if you get my drift rolleyes

It's kind of hard to explain, but if you try to curve it the same way as the lines run then it will completely fold, you don't want that lol

I'm quite excited about making a cage now - I am going to a cat show next Saturday and they sell off-cuts of vet bed so I am going to get some of this to line the correx base with :) That way they won't be able to flick their sawdust everywhere!

Vet bed is fantastic stuff, I swear by it now and have loads in different colours. Can be pricey but worth it :))
Bit of a pain to wash as the hay gets stuck in it but I give mine a good hoover before I wash it :{
