Ok,
Things took a turn for the worse this morning, I posted somewhere the Barbecue was doing his slow moving bum wiggle, mount business trying to show dominance, but didnt go down too well with nibbles and he acted back, now I didnt actually see what happened but when I went to see them this morning something was very different and there was lots and lots of activity....
Barbecue who normally runs and hides from me, couldnt wait to get out the cage into my arms for safety. Upon checking them over barbecue had a very small minor scratch quite close to his eye, not a bite but more towards claws, and they are generally not getting along..

As a result I've had to move them into their 6x2 cage earlier than I intended to with a divider. So now they both have a 3x2 (I know its not great, but consider it emergency housing), and loft, however I have a storage box adapted underneath the divider with hay, so they are still in close proximity but safe, but I cant think of a suitable way to give them access upstairs without it being super steep.

Any Ideas for make shift steps ?
Thanks

I have a few ideas on regarding access to the upper level box shape guttering is one of them and I have carpet tiles with the adhesive backing., but was more thinking that a near 40 degree angle is a bit steep.

I'm waiting on two Trixie living bridges being delivered so soon it wont be much of an issue, just in the mean time they are limited to a 2x3 space. :)
