Mail stamps

Today I sent a package off in the post box as you do, with one thing missing completely forgot the stamp! Please tell me it’ll still get sent off ?

It will still get there if you're UK based, but the person receiving will be asked to pay the postage cost plus approx £1 handling fee. If nobody is home, they will get a "Missed delivery" card and have to go to their local depot to pay and collect it.
