Lying On Food (veggies)

Today seems to be "lying on food day" in my piggies' cage...the 3 of them are even taking it in turns. They haven't done this for a while and I wondered last time they were doing it, whether they were hogging the food or if they were trying to cool down. I had the heating on this morning, maybe I've got them too warm...I don't know!

Can you feed in smaller quantities, so they are eating it all in one go - both veg and pellets? Unlimited hay should make up to 80% of the daily food intake, so it is not like they have nothing to eat in the meantime; this also mimics their dawn/dusk main feeding habit.

I guess I can do...they just don't always lie on it.

Mine lie on veg as well. I just put it down to another weird habit
