Hi
Please have your boy vet checked for a potential mammary tumor (which can be both benign or malign). Boars can get them as much as sows. If left untreated, they will simply continue to grow to a huge size; the sooner they are removed, the better. It also means that the surgery will be a lot easier and quicker with a small lump.
Try to get an appointment within a weeks' time, seeing that it is a bankk holiday weekend.

All the best!
i did think it might be that just worried if he has to have a operation and being put under. My vets don’t open again till Tuesday so going to ring them first thing
Operation success rates have generally become a lot better over the last decade; especially with vets having plenty of practice on operating on small animals. With just a small lump, it should not be a very difficult operation and the recovery rate should be well above average.
Unfortunately, your only other option would be to having your boy put to sleep when the lump gets too big or blows up in the short to medium term, depending on the nature of the tumor.
