Can anyone tell me/show a diagram of where the caudoventrum is? Our piggy has a lump to the lower right side if you are looking at her on her back. This was tested a while ago and it seemed to be a fatty lump. She had a fatty lump removed off her back over a year ago, and it was fairly traumatic, and afterwards we found it could have stayed. She does have intermittent squeaking when urinating (not all the time, which comes and goes). The issue is that I pointed out a small lump to the first vet, and then saw Vedra, who said that this was a fatty lymphoma (it was more central). We saw another vet later on, and the insurers charged us in full as they said that the first vet had found a lump on the caudoventrum and this is the same lump. The lump we are concerned about now is to the lower right (possibly bladder, and we wonder if it is a stone). We live in north Surrey.

Hi and welcome

Cauda means tail and venter is latin for belly/lower abdomen. Caudoventrum describes something located in the area by end of the spine on the belly side of it.

Not a great place for a lump because it can effect the anus and the urethra as it is all very tightly packed together and wrapped around each other there. I am very sorry :(
