Junior Guinea Pig
As many of you here will already know I have 3 girls they are around 9/10 months old and I got them from a person who's child had got fed up with them, this seeamed to have taken a VERY short time as, when I went to bring them home they were handed to me in the Pets@Home box the child had bought then in, I would guess no more than 3 weeks earlier grrrr grrrr
So given that that's their background, it is safe to say they did not chose each other to live with. I can't say they don't like each other because even though they are all ragging hormones there are hardly ever any disagreements, but I really can't say they love each other either, they just don't seem bothered. There is never any tenderness, no snuggling, or sleeping together, in fact they all sleep in opposite corners of the cage.
I love them very much x) and I worry about them all the time, I worry that they are not well :..., and now I'm worrying that they are not happy :..., they wheek for their food of course, but they hardly ever popcorn, I really want to do whats best for them, which is why I asking for advice.
I had heard that trios are the hardest groups to keep, as there are always odd ones out, but honestly my 3 seem to be all odd ones out mallethead
What do all you experienced folk think ?/ what can I do to help? I'm quite willing to do what ever it takes, I would love to give another girl a forever home, but there is no where here that does dating, and should I be thinking about splitting my 3 up into a 2 and a 1 + new one, or would adding a forth girl into the cage make any difference?
Sorry for all the questions, but I really would like to hear what people think.
