Loud squealing

I just had a strange experience:

I was sitting here watching Indiana Jones and at a particularly exciting (and possibly loud) part when all of the sudden someone started squealing very loudly. I went over to investigate, fearing that someone was hurt to find Hazel sitting in the house squealing away. Opal was in the house as well. I've checked Hazel over and she is not hurt.

Lately they have been getting into small spats as I think they are trying to establish dominance in the new place (ie with me). But this didn't seem the same.

I have no idea what went on, only that Hazel felt the need to be very loud.

Any thoughts?

Maybe they had a little tiff ? over who's in the house or not ?
i know my two can discuss quite loudly if one or the other barges in rolleyes
Maybe Opal came running in cause of the noise from the movie and disturbed Hazel, she could've been snoozing zzz

maybe the noise of the film spooked her...?
if i have the telly on loud a couple of my lot "brrrrrrr" at it...
if i turn it down there all happy...
