Loud Bottle

hi. i love my guinea pig. but, at night all she does is drink her water bottle! it's so annoying! it's just
tap.
tap.
tap.
oh? did she stop?
tap.
never mind.
when i try to take it out she'll start chirping like crazy, and that's even louder. help please.

Between them my 4 have a variety of bottles - glass, plastic, sippy, etc.
In all honesty I can hear Oreo drinking from 2 floors away, but unless I actually catch him in the at I would never know if Eddi drank at all!
I think some piggies are just noisy drinkers, and Oreo in particular is our worst offender.
She can only ever manage 2 sips, so it is an endless clack clack - pause - clack clack - pause - clack clack....
Maybe if the noise is a problem at night then feed a few pieces of watery veg (cucumber, rinsed lettuce) before bed and see if that cuts down on her thirst?

As Piggyowner says try the Ferplast sip they are quieter.

I agree, the one that came with my Ferplast cage doesn't make a tap sound at all, just a little glug every now and again. In fact, it's so quiet I'm constantly checking it to make sure it's working properly!
